  1. Hi there !

Thank you for all your great work. It’s going to be so amazing.
I just wanted to know if we would buy tickets in advance for the “Falls visit” and the “Ghost Tour”? I already took the one in Montreal and it was great so I wanted to take the one in Quebec anyway. I couldn’t think of a better oppurtunity.
Another question is,.. many, many years ago, I had the chance to take a tour of the “Château Frontenac” and I know they stopped doing it, but do you think they would accept doing it again for our special event ?
    Have a great week !

    1. We will be ticketing for all events, even the free ones, so that we can get total head counts. We just chose to spread out the ticketing in order not to overwhelm our members! 🙂
Ghost Tours will be organized, probably on 3 different nights. If one doesn’t attend the Ball for example, they will be able to book the ghost tour. As for touring the Frontenac, I can ask, but I’m not sure we’ll even have time! 🙂

      1. April,
Is there somewhere I can view more information about the costume ball and costume info? I know this is the first time someone has asked this question lol.

        1. Soon, yes! The ball is organized by SAQ, the group that oversees La Fete de la nouvelle France. We are in close contact with them and awaiting information for this year’s ball–they told us to expect an update at the end of the month. We are a bit ahead of them in our planning process–you know how our fanbase is! :). If you have a specific question let me know–I’ll do my best to answer…but we are waiting for this year’s details.

  2. I am new to the group because I’m almost done with the books and love the TV show. (You guys are a fun group, right? If you are from Boston, I would think so) I am looking for an adventure, this sounds like fun and I have not been to Quebec in many years. Questions:
I just bought tickets for the Bienvenue dinner and the Breakfast, have the other events already sold out?
Is there something I should be studying up on before attending?
I am not a “cos-play” type, more of a book nerd but I’ll go with the crowd. Thanks! Looking forward to it!

    1. Yes! Of course we are fun! The two tix you bought are the only ones posted for sale yet. We have more in the pipeline, but some are dependent on the organizers of Le Fete de la Nouvelle France. We are working with then to hold space for our group and they’ll let us know ASAP when she can begin ticketing. The only “dress up” event is the Nobility Ball–and we know that won’t appeal to everyone. Some of us are excited about dressing up in 18th century dress…others could not care less 🙂

  3. Is there a list of resources for the dressing up? Is anyone willing to show what they will be wearing? I’m plus size but going to go anyway lol wish me luck finding a nice dress.

  4. I am worried that I will not be making the registration time on Tuesday night. My plane lands at 5:30. Do you think it will be open longer or possibly the next am.?

I presume that is when we get our badges.

    Thank you

    1. If we know in advance that you’ll be arriving late and we know where you are staying we can leave your badge with the hotel’s
Front desk. Have you filled out the Badge List on the FB group
With this info? (I’m afraid it needs to be added there so we have everything in one place).
