Registration ends today!

That’s right! At the Grand Soiree Bienvenue we’ll be hosting a silent auction to benefit World Child Cancer.  In addition to a number of Outlander and Scottish themed items, we’ll be auctioning off our Piper, Elias Alexandar.  The highest bidder will win Elias as escort to the costumed Nobility Ball on Thursday, August 6th–so bring your checkbooks!

Important Reminders

Registration for Outlandish Gatherings 2015 will close next Friday, May 15.  There is still time to join us, but the clock is ticking!  If you have any questions, please comment below and we will get back to you–or you can leave a message on our Facebook page if that is easier for you.

If your on the fence about coming because you don’t have a traveling companion–please read “Traveling Solo? Dinna Fash” and let us know if you need our assistance finding a roomate.  We’re here to help!

If you are already registered but have not purchased tickets for the Grand Soiree Bienvenue, please purchase as soon as possible.  We will close ticketing for this event on May 25th as we have to have our numbers into the catering department when we make our next payment intallment.  This is the biggest event of the Gathering and we don’t anyone to miss it!  In addition to the amazing food and palatial setting, we’ll have music and entertainment from Elias Alexander, Adhamh O’Broin and Gillebride MacMillan. The evening will also offer unique Outlander themed items for bid by silent auction to benefit World Child Cancer.   You may purchase your ticket(s) here if haven’t done so already : Grand Soiree Bienvenue.

Also for existing registrants, be sure we call you by your preferred name–fill out the Official Badge Form here:  Badge Form

Prepayment is now being accepted for the Nobility Ball hosted by Les Fetes de la Nouvelle France.  They won’t be ticketing until next month at the earliest, but we have been offered 80 guaranteed reservations.  This event always sells out, so be sure to get your ticket early if you are planning to attend.  We will be paying for our tickets all at once and will not be facilitating tickets for our group after that time. If you wish to ensure a ticket with our group, I would recommend that you do not delay.   Nobility Ball Prepayment

There is still a bit of time before we have to guarantee our numbers for the Speak Outlander Breakfast–we’ll update you when ticketing closes for that event. But you if you’d like to purchase now, you may do so.

We will have information very soon for those of you who are participating in the 5K Charity Fun Walk through the Plains of Abrham to benefit World Child Cancer.  Registration will include a teeshirt and you will be able to solicit pledges from your family and friends via our Just Giving Team Page.

We’ve tried to space ticketing out over a period of time so you aren’t hit with expenses all at once. There will be many free activities, such as the festival’s Opening Day parade and fireworks.  We still have to get ticketing up for the sight-seeing trip to ChuteMontmorency–and we will be offering group pricing on “medallions” that provide discounts and access to special events during Les Fetes de la Nouvelle France.  There are a few more activities that Les Fetes de la Nouvelle France will be offering but we are in a holding pattern until they share the details with us. We are still working on a Whisky Tasting for those who are interested in that–we’ll keep you posted!  And we MAY offer an early morning golf outing–stay tuned!  For those staying overnight on Friday, we are working on a Ghost Tour–we plan to find out if there is interest in a Ghost Tour for the night of the Nobility Ball as well, for those who do not wish to attend the ball.

So you will see–there is lots still to come! We do not want to OVERBOOK your time, as we want you to have plenty of time to sight-see together in this beautiful World Heritage site–but we do want you to feel you have options to choose from.

If anyone has anything they’d like to donate to the Silent Auction for World Child Cancer–please contact Jennifer Veach.

Thanks everyone!
